Last Sunday 25th Sept. 2026, we Kuanggu Incense had the pleasure of welcoming a long-distance client and their team of over 20 dealers to Quanzhou for a week-long immersive study and cultural exchange program.
As their dedicated custom incense sticks supplier, we were honored to help organize a small salon for the group — a meaningful afternoon that combined the ancient art of Chinese incense culture with hands-on creativity.
Our teacher led a session on the philosophy and history of Chinese incense, offering the group a deeper understanding of how incense has been used for thousands of years to calm the mind, purify spaces, and connect with a sense of inner balance. Following the class, everyone took part in a Natural Herbal Five Elements Blending Scents (HeXiang) Beads DIY workshop, where each person strung their own unique bracelet from natural scented beads.
By the end of the afternoon, everyone left with a piece they had made themselves — and a deeper appreciation for the world of incense. The smiles in the room said it all.
The choice of Quanzhou for this retreat was no accident. As a city with over a thousand years of cultural heritage, Quanzhou continues to attract visitors from all over China and around the world. It is a place where history, craftsmanship, and daily life still flow together — the perfect setting for a week of learning and connection.
The Natural Herbal Five Elements Blending Scents (HeXiang) Beads used in the workshop are one of our featured production lines — Scented Jewelry (Xiangpei). Made entirely from natural aromatic materials, they are not only beautiful to wear but have also been reported by our customers to offer benefits such as relief from motion sickness, protection, and space purification. Each bracelet carries its own subtle scent and a quiet sense of intention.
For us, this salon was more than just an event. It was a chance to share the culture behind our products — and to show our partners that what we make is not only about incense, but about a way of living.
We are grateful to our client for bringing their team all the way to Quanzhou. It was a week of connection, learning, and shared appreciation for the art of incense — and we look forward to many more.
